Alyeska Resort became a three day resting place between the two days of glacier-viewing.  What a perfect oasis, offering a tram ride that brings back to mind our experiences in Switzerland. The forests, flowers and lush landscape that lined the grounds brought back visions of New Zealand. Hiking trails leading to blueberries, ripe for picking, brought back memories of my Grandmother’s back yard when currants and raspberries went from plentiful vines directly into my 3-year-old mouth.
