Letting The Good Times Roll

The only cold part of this trip has been the weather.  Southern hospitality and thermal underwear have kept us very comfortable.

Joel has arranged a well-paced, rich itinerary with the help of the internet and the advice of friends. We followed Elvis from his beginnings at Sun Studios to his lavish life at Graceland.  The Civil Rights Museum took us on a memorable three hour path from the early days of slavery to the balcony and the view of Martin Luther King’s room at the Lorraine Motel, where he was assassinated.

We are almost at the half-way mark. Here are a few photos holding memories of dancing, singing and feeling a bit tipsy:
